Impact Commercial Traffic Doors - Product of the Week

Impact Traffic Commercial Doors

Durulite Standard impact commercial traffic doors, manufactured by Chase Doors are known for their ruggedness, ease of maintenance and long service life. This versatile door is capable of filling the needs of a wide variety of applications. Designed as a multi-purpose lightweight door, yet the Durulite Standard is tough enough to take the abuse of personnel, stock carts and motorized pallet jacks. The strength of the Durulite Standard is due to its rotationally molded polyethylene construction. Standard tests for impact resistance indicates that rotationally molded polyethylene is 5 times more puncture resistant and 3 times more flexible than ABS material. The corrosion resistant panel is ideal for wash down applications as it has no gaps or joint seams. The door is designed to comply with all USDA sanitation requirements and was tested and certified by NSF.

The Durulite Standard Door is lightweight, weighing only 2.5 pounds per square foot, making it easy to open and allows for safe passage of personnel and damage free equipment. The outer skin is rotationally molded polyethylene and can retain its properties to –40oF.  The core of the door is internally reinforced with tubular steel to ensure flatness and strengthen the door panel and is insulated with foamed-in-place CFC-Free urethane. The foamed-in-place CFC-Free urethane core does not break down when impacted, providing noise control and excellent insulation with an R factor of 10.83.
