Lightweight Sound Absorbing Hollow Metal Doors

The Sound Tech Xpress Door systems make use of cutting edge hollow metal doors for a light weight sound absorbing solution. In fact, Ceco reports that its STC 50, 52, and 54 Sound-Tech Xpress assemblies are over 30% lighter than most sound doors of equal STC rating.

At the time of writing, the Sound Tech Xpress line covered ratings from STC 32 up to STC 55 to accommodate almost any need, including high STC applications like performance hall isolation and government and military sound resistant rooms. All of the doors have also been tested to ASTM standards and are in compliance with HMMA 865-03 and SDI 128 specifications.

A Complete Acoustical Door System

The Sound Tech Xpress System includes door, frame, and approved seal systems with certified label. Special kerf frames or cam lift hinges are not required for most assemblies, making them ideal for most applications. All sound seal equipment is included in the system, making it easy to install.
