About Security Frames
Security frames are heavy-gauge hollow metal frames with added reinforcement. They are specified for correctional facilities, data centers, banks, evidence rooms, pharmacies and restricted government spaces.
The extra steel, anchoring and reinforcement help keep the frame from being spread or pried away from the door, and the frame is prepared for the heavier hinges and locks a secure opening uses.

How to choose
Define the forced-entry level, hinge and lock preps, anchoring and any fire rating up front, because changes after fabrication are difficult on heavy-gauge frames.
