We are proud supporters and sponsors of the local chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). Starting the first week of March, NAWIC members near and far will be celebrating what is called WIC Week (Women In Construction).

According to NAWIC, "this series of events is to highlight women as a viable component of the construction industry. WIC Week also provides an occasion for NAWIC’s thousands of members across the country to raise awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry and to emphasize the growing role of women in the industry. It is also a time for local chapters to give back to their communities."

Mills & Nebraska will be hosting one of the events during WIC week at our facility in Orlando. This event will also be part membership drive. If you are a woman in construction come on out and check out the local NAWIC chapter. There is no fee for entry and food will be served. We will also have a silent auction and raffle to raise money for our Habitat for Humanity build.

The event will be held Thursday, March 5th from 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Come, coalesce, and contribute to a worthy cause!
