Dedication and Loyalty

Hung Retirement

At Mills & Nebraska we sincerely appreciate the talents, dedication and loyalty of our team members. Recently we had a long time employee retire. Hung was the Supervisor of our Metal Fabrication Shop, serving Mills & Nebraska customers for over 25 years! As we reflect on his Silver Anniversary and Retirement, Hung was the instrumental leader that enabled Mills & Nebraska to provide and expand in-house fabrication services.

Over these years he was involved in many changes including shop design and layout, equipment procurement and upgrades, and overseeing a hardworking team of craftsmen. Hung was the instrumental leader that enabled Mills & Nebraska to provide and expand in-house fabrication offerings.

When talking to Hung about his time at Mills & Nebraska and reflecting on his tenure, he made a few poignant statements about his role. His working mindset was, “To make the company better, to teach others to always do their best 100% of the time, to be adaptable to fabricate product that would achieve our customer’s needs, and to create no rework.”

Hung only had compliments for the family owned and run company. He praised Bridget saying she was one of the reasons he was with Mills & Nebraska for so long.

Owner Bridget Pulsifer recalls Hung being a strong, talented and dedicated leader his entire career. Hung had received exemplary training at a small private metal production company prior to his Mills & Nebraska employment, and he instilled those traits in those who worked around him. Hung was a friend as well as a co-worker and supervisor, bringing enthusiasm and passion to his daily responsibilities.

Hung came to America from Vietnam with a personal mission to better himself and to help others better themselves - from our perspective he did exactly that!

Hung, we wish you all the best in your retirement! We are hopeful you find your way back to visit to see how your legacy continues to grow and pours into the next generation.
