You May Move Your Tassels to the Left

Posted on Nov 08 2019

Recently two of our employees, Cathy and Jennifer, graduated from the Turner School of Construction Management. Albeit they didn't have to literally move any tassles upon graduation they did earn their Certificates. The Turner School of Construction Management was established in 1969 and is offered in more than 30 of Turner's locations nationwide. It is an educational program designed by Turner to assist in the best principles and best practices in the construction industry.

Both of these ladies at Mills&Nebraska wanted to improve their knowledge and skills in the construction industry. They saw this course as a great way to accomplish those goals.

Jennifer, who is one of our Estimators, said this course interested her, "because I wanted to get more of my customer’s perspective of the bidding and project management processes and learn how to better provide them with the information they need...It’s helped me...meet my customers’ needs in the pre-construction aspects of commercial architectural projects.”

As for Cathy, our Installation Manager, she took the course because she loves learning! There is always something to learn and knowledge to gain no matter how long you have been in an industry. The more you learn the greater you earn your clients' trust and build on that relationship.

We give an exuberant, "Congratulations Cathy and Jennifer!!" for completing your courses and stretching to learn new subjects. We are proud of you both!
