Giving Back

Recently part of our team at Mills&Nebraska had the opportunity to volunteer at the Orlando Union Rescue Mission's Family Home. We served lunch to their residents and staff.

The Orlando Union Rescue Mission has been a staple in downtown Orlando since 1948. It started as a ministry to the homeless veterans of WWII and has grown exponentially to help women, men, children, and families. They believe in giving a hand up and not just a hand out.

They are a faith-based ministry and believe that permanent life change is only possible through a personal relationship with Jesus. We couldn't agree more and we were proud to be a small part of serving their residents. Giving back to our community is part of our DNA at Mills. Funny thing is - when we give, we end up getting back more in return. It's a beautiful exchange.
